Sobre varias personalidades sefardíes relevantes de la comunidad de Salónica que perecieron en el Holocausto. Entre ellos los músicos Isaac (Artzi) Sion, Avraham Barzilay y Sadik Guershon, el hazán (cantor sinagogal) Avraham Aharon Barzilay; también fue deportado con su familia (aunque él sobrevivió) el escritor Baruch ben Yaakov.
El artículo ofrece abundante información sobre la actividad artística y literaria de estos sefardíes de Salónica y sobre los grupos teatrales y musicales salonicenses que también fueron deportados.
